Hancock -- The following

Mitchell Glass, Jon Sawasky, Zac Overy and Samantha Brooks. deMoel -- DECA Business Club
meets today after school in 212. The competition is next week so it's
crucial all attend. See Jared if you can't. Tomins -- All grade 11
students planning on writing the University of Waterloo Avogadro
Chemistry Exam please see Mrs. Tomins in room 104 at the start of lunch
tomorrow to make arrangements for writing the exam on Thursday.
Cegys -- A reminder to all
string ensemble and orchestra members of our last rehearsals on Tuesday
and Thursday this week. Everyone must attend.
DiRamio -- There is a brass ensemble practice today after school. We will be meeting outside the downstairs music room.
Wild Water Works is on
Tuesday, June 5th! Forms will be available tomorrow!! Pomeroy -- Sir Winston
Churchill's first annual Film Festival tickets will be on sale this
week. Get your tickets to see the best student films by SWC students!
Sayliss -- Final full Concert
Choir rehearsal before the spring concert today after school ...ALL
choir members must be in attendance! Sayliss -- On Saturday, May
26th, the Niagara Men's chorus presents Ontario Sings with over 200 male
voices, in Niagara Falls. Tickets are $20.00. See Mr. Sayliss for more
information! Hindrichs/Perron -- To
everyone who was certified in the last CPR-C, please come down to the
office for their certification cards after the announcements. The next
session will be starting this Wednesday after school. The sign up sheet
is on the bullitin board between the upstairs bathrooms. Robineau -- Junior Reach
players, please go to Rm. 219 in the afternoon to get a permission form
the the upcoming competition at Ridley College.
Perron -- This years athletic
banquet will be taking place Monday June 4 th. The event will begin with
a catered BBQ at the SWC Cafeteria followed by award presentations for
all sports at the school. If you paid your athletic fee you may pick up
a ticket from Mr. Perron in the boys PE office Asap. This will get you
your meal plus entrance to the banquet. If you have not paid your fee
please see Mr. Perron so as to purchase a ticket. the deadline for
ticket pickup is Tuesday May 29th. Tomins -- Congratulations to
the girls softball team who played outstanding baseball on Friday at the
SWC Bulldog Invitational tournament. In round robin play, the
girls mercied DM 10-0, and defeated Saint Francis 11-3, West Park 15-4,
and NCC 15-3. The girls unfortunately had one bad inning in their
semi-final game against Eden and lost 11-6 to the eventual tournament
winners. Outstanding defensive and offensive performances by Hannah
Nazar, Erin Harper and Stephanie McGill. Erin and Steph both hit grand
slams in separate games. Also strong at the plate were Carly Glantz,
Kaitlin Wood, Kristin Taras, Samantha McGill, Shanice Springer, Sam Tapp,
Sydney Shugan and Julia Brown. The solid pitching and key hitting of
Ashley Boulton and Vanessa Hemphill were huge factors in the teams
success. Thanks for a great day girls. There will be a practice at
3:30 pm at Briardale on Wednesday. Perron -- Any football
players or potential football players interested in participating in a
summer football camp, please see Mr. Perron for details as soon as
possible. Huyzers -- The Bulldogs
baseball team continue their regular season today in an afternoon game
versus St.Francis at Communiy Park. Game time is 3:30 pm. Teachers,
please excuse players at 2:45. DiRamio -- There is pickup
basketball Tuesday (that's tomorrow) and Thursday this week at 7:30AM.
All are welcome!
Hunt -- Congratulations to
all SWC Rowers who participated in the Mother's Day Regatta yesterday.
The Bulldogs showed their colours bringing in numerous medals and
putting on many strong performances. Special mention goes to the the
Junior Boys Four made up of AJ Eizenga, Brad Haun, Cody Zelichowski,
Jacob Watson and Milile Marler who won GOLD in their event! Here are

Team members, please pick up a consent form from Jared for next
week's competition. Robineau -- On the
Weekend of MAY 12 th, the Senior Reach team competed against the top
Ontario teams at the University of Toronto's Scarborough campus. The
team finished with a winning record of 5 wins and 2 losses and are
ranked 14 th in the province. Excellent results Bulldogs!
Perron -- Any football
player or any person trying out next year for football at SWC ,
please see Mr. Perron at his PE office for further information
concerning football/speed camp. Perron -- All Co-ed
volley ball players. You MUST return your uniforms to Mr. Molnar by
this Wednesday!!!!!! Huyzers -- The Bulldogs
baseball team came back from a 5 run deficit to defeat St. Francis
in the final inning of yesterday's game. Another game today ... the
team travels into Thorold to face the Eagles. Game time is 3:30.
Teachers, please dismiss players at 2:30. Bruschke -- Please excuse
the boys and girls soccer teams at 1:45pm today for their games @
BT.

Hunt -- PRIDE Prom 2012
is coming up on June 1 - with a ZOMBIE Theme. Tickets are $10 in

participated in the Bake Sale - we raised $150!
Rigas -- There will be a
brief Model UN meeting today at 3:15 in room 121. Sayliss -- Full concert
band rehearsal today after school - last one before our concert -
Everyone must be in attendance!
Tomins -- There will be a

baseball team clipped the Eagles wings yesterday to even their
record at 2 wins and 2 losses. The team plays again today facing
Eden at Alex MacKenzie Park. Game time is 4:00 pm. Teachers, please
dismiss players at 3:00 pm for the game. Perron -- To all athletes
who paid their athletic fee, please pick up your athletic banquet
tickets from Mr. Perron in the boys PE office either before or after
school and during both lunches. The tickets will get you entrance to
the banquet and will provide you with a BBQ meal Catered by Cats
Caboose. The Awards for all sports and athletes of the year will
take place following the BBQ. The event will take place on Monday
June 4 . Also tickets must be picked up before May 29. Perron -- Football
players interested in developing their skills for next Football

because the end of the school year looms ahead, does not mean that
opportunities to earn your volunteer hours does! Check out the Community
Involvement area in Guidance for the latest and greatest in volunteer
positions from now and through the summer! DiRamio -- All brass ensemble
members please come by the robotics room during period 3 or 4 today.
Remember that we have a practice Tuesday morning. DiRamio -- A list of
candidates that have been selected for Grade Rep interviews is posted on
the student council board upstairs. Please sign up for an interview slot
for next week. If you can't make any of the times available for your
grade, please see Mr. DiRamio in the robotics room. Pomeroy -- Yesterday, after completing a very difficult and highly competitive 2 -day competition at the 2012 Skills Canada Nationals in Edmonton, Alberta, our very own Blake Hannahson and Stephanie Stanov were awarded the National Gold Medal for Secondary School TV and video production! Congratulations Blake and Stephanie! This is an outstanding accomplishment!
DiRamio -- There will be
pickup basketball Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7:30AM next week. All
are welcome!
