   Getting Started In Photoshop Elements

   1. Open Photoshop Elements 7 > Edit mode.
   2. File > New blank file >
      • Page Size = 8.5 inches x 11 inches
      • Resolution = 300 pixels per inch
      • Background = Transparent
      • Save the file as LastnameFirstnameMagCover
   3. To set the background colour--Click on the Foreground Colour Tool (bottom of Toolbox) > Pick your Colour > OK > Edit Menu > Fill Layer.  Now your entire page is that colour.

   4. Add other elements to create your cover.

HOMEWORK:

• Music Video due tomorrow at start of class.  That includes exporting your video in Full Quality.  Put exported file on Ms. deMoel's USB Stick.  FYI - You'll have class time Thursday to complete the paperwork.
