RADIO SHOW

This rubric is an adaptation of the COMPLEX PRESENTATION rubric (see CIVICS) and takes into account criteria for presentations using a variety of media. This assessment should be combined with the GROUP WORK EFFECTIVENESS rubric.

Scripting

Script relates to content of assignment though it is not complete nor completely accurate.

Script is complete and accurate with considerable knowledge of topics.

Script is complete with few errors. Topics are thoroughly treated.

Communication appropriate to media / final product format
(A & C)

Effort for presentation is not shown. Language and style are inappropriate. There is little effort to dramatize or match the conventions of radio shows.

Some attention to language and style. There is clear effort to dramatize or match the conventions of radio shows though it may not consistently applied.

Effort and thoughtful preparation clearly shown with few noticeable errors. It sounds like a radio show.

Presentation appears well rehearsed with few noticeable errors. Media used creatively; e.g., use of humor, pitch, and dramatic pacing.
