Course Expectations

TGJ4M is a project based course. Students are responsible for the production of the video morning announcements on a rotating basis. Students are expected to act safely and responsibly at all time.  Attendance and punctuality are very important. Because students are working on a variety of projects at a time, students are expected to organize their time effectively.

• Attend class regularly.

• Arrive on time with appropriate materials, ready to work.

• Behave in a courteous, considerate and respectful manner towards other students and the teacher.

• Treat all school equipment with care at all times. This includes not bringing food or drink into the computer lab. Any malicious damage to school equipment will result in immediate removal from the classroom.

• All work should demonstrate thoughtfulness, care and an attention to detail.

• If you know in advance that you will be absent for a test or a submission due date, you are expected to discuss the circumstances with your teacher and make alternative arrangements ahead of time.

• All assignments are due at the beginning of class on the assigned day. If you do not complete the work you may be asked to attend Study Hall after school to do so. If, despite intervention on the part of your teacher, you do not submit work in a timely manner, your teacher may deduct 5% of the achieved grade per school day up to a maximum of 25% of the achieved grade, giving consideration to individual student needs and circumstances.
