AMR1O1 (Grade 9 - After School Music Repertoire)

This course provides students with the opportunity to learn an extensive repertoire for their respective instrument. Students will also practice sight-reading strategies, incorporate stylistic devices into their performance and interpret various styles of music through the selected works.

Course note: Repertoire is in addition to the 8 submissions on the Course Plan; it is an extra course/credit opportunity that takes place outside of the regular school day. 

 

AMR2O  (Grade 10 - After School Music Repertoire)

The Music Repertoire course provides students with the opportunity to learn an extensive repertoire for their respective instrument. Students will also be provided with the opportunity to practise sight reading strategies, incorporate stylistic devices into their performance as well as interpret various styles of music through the selected works.

Course note: Repertoire is in addition to the 8 submissions on the Course Plan; it is an extra course/credit opportunity that takes place outside of the regular school day. 

 

AMR3M1 (Grade 11 - After School Music Repertoire)

This course utilizes the study of band repertoire at an intermediate-advanced level, to enrich and expand the experience of the students already enrolled in AMI3M.  A variety of different techniques, public performances and clinics will be utilized to develop a thorough appreciation of the diverse roles of music within the Canadian cultural landscape.

AMR4M1  (Grade 12 - After School Music Repertoire)

This course utilizes the study of an extensive band repertoire at an advanced level, to enrich and expand the experience of the students already enrolled in AMI4M.  A variety of different techniques, public performances and clinics will be utilized to develop a thorough appreciation of the diverse roles of music within the Canadian cultural landscape.
