Pomeroy -- The Sir Winston Film Festival is this Thursday night at 7:00 in the Auditorium! Join us for the First Annual SWCFF! Tickets are free! Be there and see some of the best student films from the past few years. Tickets will be available in the Cafeteria both lunches along with T-Shirts, Buttons, and popcorn!
See you at the movies!
 

Cegys -- This is a reminder to all string and orchestra members that you will be excused from period 4 on Wednesday for a dress rehearsal in the auditorium after you have done attendance in your class.


Cox -- A reminder to all Literary Magazine editors to meet in Ms. Cox's room 225 after school today for an editing meeting. Bring your two poetry packages with you!


A reminder to all Rankin Run volunteers that tonight is the final session for preparing runners packages. Pick up your community service hours sheet in Guidance or get one at tonight's session.
AND...
students and staff who are participating in the run this Saturday please pick up their runners packages from Mrs. Dallaire or Mrs. Dupuis in the cafeteria today during senior lunch.

Lupish/Busca There will be a very important meeting for the SWC Sportfishing Club on Wednesday after school in the shop. This meeting is mandatory for all students participating in next week's Educast Tournament! If you are unable to attend please see either Mr. Lupish or Mr. Busca ASAP.
 

Hunt -- Rowing results from the Stotesbury Regatta over the weekend -- Sr Women 8+ made it to the semis and Matt Finley wom a bronze in Sr Men 1x. Meanwhile in Welland - more bulldog success! -- Gold for Jr men 72 kg 8+ and Jr men 72 kg and Jr men 4+ AND Jr women 2x, Silver for Senior men pair and Jr women 4x., Congrats to everyone!
 

Sayliss -- A reminder to all staff and students - Our annual spring concert is this Wednesday at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Come on out to this free event. Musicians, are to be at the school for 6:30pm!
 

DiRamio -- Brass Ensemble - we will be having a very short practice right after school in the downstairs music room. Get there quickly!
 

DiRamio -- There is robotics tomorrow after school in room 223 for anyone interested in getting a head start on next year's competition.

 

Tomins -- There will be a very important practice today at 3:30pm at Briardale school for the girls softball team.  All girls not attending must see Mrs. Tomins today for the schedule for tomorrows zone tournament.
 

Huyzers -- The Bulldogs enter baseball action once again this afternoon. Today's opponents are the Governor Simcoe Redcoats. A win will earn the Bulldoags a spot in the zone playoffs on Thursday. Game time today is 2:00 pm. Teachers please dismiss players at 12:30.
 

Perron -- Athletes who have paid their athlethic Fee or now wish to do so are asked to see Mr. Perron to pick up your athlethic banquet ticket ASAP . He needs to Know numbers by May30. The banquet takes place Monday June 4th.
 

Perron -- Those football players or athletes who have picked up flyers or who are interested in the Football speed camp are asked to sign up with Mr. Perron By next Monday.
 

DiRamio -- There will be pickup basketball Wednesday (that's tomorrow!) and Friday mornings this week at 7:30AM. All are welcome!

Hunt -- PRIDE Prom 2012 is coming up on June 1 - with a ZOMBIE Theme. Tickets are $10 in advance. See Ms. Hunt for more details.

Collini -- Any current grade 10 students who are interested in becoming Leaders in Training for Project Spirit 2012, please pick up an application form from Ms. Goldwin in the main office. Forms must be completed and returned to the main office by Wednesday, May 30th.
 

deMoel -- DECA Business Team meets in Rm. 212 to finalize tomorrow's competition. If you can't make it, you MUST see Jared!
 

Robineau -- Congratulations to Corwan Groux who is the top student in Begbie French History competition. His mark of 98% has earned Corwan the coveted Begbie medallion, a cheque for 1,000.00 and a visit to Rideah Hall for an award ceremony in December.

Sayliss -- A reminder that Orchestra and strings are to report to the auditorium in Period 4 today, Concert choir is to come down at ten to 3:00PM. Concert band will rehearse briefly at their regular time! followed by Sax Quartet! ALL musicians who ordered music shirts can pick them up at the rehearsal in the aud...period 4!

 

Sayliss -- Tonight's Spring concert starts @ 7:00pm in the Auditorium - come out and show your SWC spirit at this free concert!!


Hunt -- Any girls coming out to tonight's basketball skills session MUST come to guidance and sign up. We need a minimum of 6 players to have it run.


Bruschke -- Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their big semi-final win yesterday against BT. The bulldogs won 1-0 on a goal scored by Jesus Altamirano. Justin Pickford was solid in net yet again recording his 3rd straight shutout. Well done boys and best of luck to you for your final on Friday. Practice today after school.
