Grad Breakfast - Thursday, June 6th - Details...
Jun 06, 2019 @ 8:30 AM - Jun 06, 2019 @ 12:00 PM
Graduates are invited to celebrate their upcoming Graduation with their peers and SWC staff at the annual SWC Grad Breakfast.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., PGs, you will be welcomed into the Upper Caf, where you will receive your Grad Invitation envelope which will contain your Grad invitation and your Grad tickets.
Then, PGs, you will proceed downstairs to the Lower Caf where a delicious hot breakfast will be ready for you to enjoy with your graduating class and the SWC staff.
Relax, eat, chat, laugh, enjoy yourselves. Then, at approx. 9:45 a.m. we will wrap up breakfast and head to the Auditorium. So, hit the washroom, grab a pen/pencil, bring your invitation (as this is your proof of eligibility to participate) and head right into the Aud.
At approx. 10:00 a.m. we will begin in the Aud. You will listen to Valedictorian speeches, learn who your Grad Class has nominated for Rotary Medallist recipients, discover more details about Graduation day/night and the process leading up to the big event, AND you will be voting for, and ultimately selecting, your Valedictorian and Rotary Medallists.
Traditionally Grad Breakfast and Grad Voting takes up all of Period 1 & 2, so plan accordingly.
One final, oh so important detail - if your 40 hours of Community Involvement have not been received, processed and downloaded onto your records (which can take more than a day), you are not eligible to attend Grad Breakfast and Grad Voting. This is not new, this is not a surprise, you have always known this - so, don't leave us with your pancakes - get them in NOW.
